The cost per unit includes the complete national press and public exposure plus
the guarantee of increases in showroom traffic and the contunuous building of
Oldsmobiles performance image. These intangible items, (advertising, dealer
promotion material, public relations and national exposure) which are included
in the price are expensive but an absolute necessity if the Hurst/Oldsmobile is
to be offered to the anxious performance/executive market again in 1969 and
succeeding years.
